Tianjin Port and Tangshan Port in Hebei province will form a dual-core system, a base for an international integration trade port. Qinghuangdao Port and Huanghua Port of Hebei province will be the "wings" to hasten the construction of the international shipping core area, according to Beijing Daily on August 1.
Gao Jinhao, head of the Department of Transportation of Hebei province, said Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province are working together on the development of the international port group through industrial restructuring and improving functional orientation.
