Tianjin Port's cargo handling capacity increases

In the first half of this year, Tianjin Port saw its cargo handling capacity reach 250 million tons, and container throughput reached 6.51 million TEUs, up 8.1 percent and 11.1 percent year-on-year respectively. The port has also received 24 international cruise ships, a year-on-year increase of 60 percent.

It has achieved its goals on schedule and aims to reach the goal of handling 525 million tons of cargo and 135 million TEUs of containers by the end of the year.
