| Shenzhen Airlines launched one new route from Tianjin to Hong Kong via Shenzhen to facilitate touring and shopping in HK for Tianjin residents. The new route will save as much as nearly 1 000 yuan for one passenger, authorities from Shenzhen Airlines said on Monday.
The new route will first transport passengers to Shenzhen Airport, then transfer them to Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Wanchai and other HK downtown areas. Compared to nonstop flights, the new route via Shenzhen has a big advantage in price. It will take 60 to 100 minutes at the cost of 60 yuan to 80 yuan from Shenzhen to Hong Kong by bus. The nonstop Tianjin-Hong Kong usually costs about 1 800 yuan while the new route only costs about 900 yuan.
Hong Kong is a hot tour destination for Tianjin residents. As the summer travel rush is coming, the new route will give them a lower price choice.
