The project is located in tourism and economic development zone of Tai'an, East China's Shandong province, and will have a total area of 1,500 mu, and a gross investment of 350 million yuan. In the zone, there is five-star conference center, a theme park and resort, theater, and aquatic recreational world, as well as an outlet style shopping street, and residential area.

The area of Tianping Lake is three square kilometers. The average depth of the water is seven meters, and the deepest point of the lake is 17 meters. The climate is pleasant, and there is a lot of vegetation. In winter, swans, grey cranes and wild ducks often sit on the lake. Within the lake area, symbolic projects that reflect the fame of Mount Tai, China’s most sacred mountain, will be built in order to create a world-class tourist holiday resort.

Mount Tai receives an advantage of 18 million visitors annually, so there is great potential for profit. Once the projects are completed, annual sales revenue will likely reach $35 million, providing the government with a tax revenue of $6 million.
