The Third Circuit Court of the Supreme People's Court (SPC) recently concluded a foreign-related commercial case via the top court's online mobile case-hearing platform.

Appealed to the circuit court by a Chinese decoration firm based in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, the case was scheduled to be heard on a day in the midst of the epidemic, leaving the appellant anxious about whether the trial could be held as scheduled.

Taking into account the epidemic and the rights and interests of the parties involved, the court decided to hear the case through the online platform on the scheduled date.

The proceeding went smoothly online with the court announcing its verdict in court, putting an end to the dispute that had lasted for one and a half years.
