To serve more people, Zhou opened a Q&A program about law on WeChat, a mobile social media platform in China, which has attracted many followers.

“Zhou Xin is a role model of the new era,” said Chen Libin, president of the Shanghai No 1 intermediate people's court, “The opening of the Judge Zhou Xin Studio serves as a brand to promote ideas, such as justice for the people and due process.”

“The changes in trial mechanism force us judges to keep on learning,” said Zhou.

Faced with economic development and new types of emerging cases, judges also need to keep pace with the times and study new theories, added Zhou.

At the same time, they should have the courage to try new methods and reform measures, including new technologies, to improve trial efficiency, Zhou noted.
