SXU publishes paper in top international chemicals journal

Xia Danyu, an associate professor at the Scientific Instrument Center at Shanxi University, recently published a research paper in Chemical Reviews, a peer-reviewed scientific journal published twice monthly by the American Chemical Society.
The article was entitled Functional Supramolecular Polymeric Networks: The Marriage of Covalent Polymers and Macrocycle-Based Host?Guest Interactions.
It reviews the research progress into functional supramolecular polymer networks in recent years, from the perspective of macrocyclic-based host-guest recognition.
It showcases prospects for supramolecular polymer network materials as a perfect combination product of supramolecular chemistry, polymer science and material science.
As the first and corresponding author of the article, Xia has been committed to research on supramolecular chemistry at Scientific Instrument Center at Shanxi University since July 2017.
It was the first time that Shanxi University has published a paper in the Chemical Reviews as the first corresponding institute.
