Student exchange programs with the universities of Japan

Interschool relations between Shanxi University and Japan started back in the 1980s. So, over a 30–year period agreements have been signed with Rikkyo University, Yokohama National University, Kokushikan University, Tokyo International University, Sendai Shirayuri Women's College, and Japan Telecommunication University giving both Shanxi University and Japanese university students an opportunity to study and live abroad to increase mutual understanding.
