Shanxi: Coal and Steel Seeks Joint Development
Shanxi Coking Coal Group (SCCG) signed a long-term strategic cooperation agreement with Taiyuan Iron & Steel (Group) Co Ltd (TISCO) on July 23, 2012 to enhance their cooperation.
Coal and steel are interdependent industries and are inseparable from each other. The joining of the two industry giants will undoubtedly bring new opportunities for development.
SCGG is known as China's largest high-quality coking coal production base and supplier, while TISCO is a steel enterprise with the largest global production capacity, most up-to-date technology and the most complete varieties and specifications of steel. The two have already maintained a long-term friendly cooperation.
Therefore, the cooperation can be described as progression along a course, which will be of great benefit to these two flagship enterprises.
