Wang Yingjie from Guanjun village, Jiaokou town, Qinyuan county, paints a gourd, Oct 8. Born with congenital spina bifida, Wang has severe paraplegia and is confined to a wheelchair. Despite his physical limitations, he has been painting since he was seven years old and has practiced pyrography (the art of decorating wood or other materials with burn marks) since he was 22.
