Some 1,000 kinds of wine from 18 countries were on show at the third Shanxi Wanguo Imported Wine Exposition which opened in Taiyuan on Jan 6.
The expo, featuring the history and culture of red wine, selected representative wines from different countries and invited more than 3,000 people from all walks of life to have a taste, with the aim of establishing a platform for integration, demonstrations, sales, promotion of the wine industry, and displaying the development of the industry in Shanxi in recent years. The culture of red wine and responsible drinking were also promoted at the expo.
A wine summit and a wallet-friendly wine selection event were also held during the expo. More than 500 people, including wine dealers, representatives of the catering industry, duty-free shops at Taiyuan Wusu International Airport in Shanxi, attended the expo hosted by All Nations Alan Trade Co, a Shanxi-based wine business.
