According to a report on Feb 5, the 25th National Books Expo will be held in Shanxi in Taiyuan around September.

At the expo's early stage, the Shanxi government will organize reading activities to attract more citizens to enjoy reading.
The event is a communication platform for publications exhibition to display achievements in the publishing industry, publications trade, information exchange and studies of the publication industry.
It will also help advocate reading and push forward local economic development.
Started in 1980, the National Books Expo is one of the earliest exhibitions focusing on culture. More than 20 cities across the country have hosted this exhibition, which has become a feast for book fans after 24 sessions. For the first time, it is coming to Shanxi province.
The 25th National Books Expo was hosted by the General Administration of Press and Publication, Radio, Film and Television and the government of Shanxi. Taiyuan is this year's main venue, with three sub-venues including the cities of Datong, Changzhi and Yuncheng.
