The 2nd National Chinese Medicine Development Seminar, in Pingyao county, Shanxi province, which ran Oct 26-27, was part of a move to develop a site for communication and cooperation of the traditional folk medicines and promoting their development and provide better healthcare and services for China’s people.

The seminar, which had Wang Dongguang, deputy head of the county taking part, had discussion of how to develop traditional medical culture nationally and build a related tourism. Participants came up with a plan for global conferences on cancer treatment based on traditional Chinese medicine and establishing the online traditional Chinese medicine hospitals.

There was also a lot of talk and discussions involving folk medicine and traditional Chinese medicine practitioners from Pingyao and across the nation.
