The mobile app Shanghai Jiading has opened a special window where local residents can reserve face masks, the district government announced on Feb 5.
The online booking, which everyone can use only once, is available until 3 pm, Feb 11. Applicants should register their detailed personal information such as name, phone number, address and number of identity certificates. Local residential committees will further examine the information and, once approved, applicants can take their identity certificates and buy masks at designated drugstores.
Residents who have submitted paper applications to local residential committees do not need to apply again.
Follow the steps below to book masks online:
1. Scan the QR code below to download the Android or iOS versions of Shanghai Jiading mobile app.
2. Click the Book Masks button shown on the home page of the app.
3. Choose the township or sub-district where you are living. From top to bottom: Anting town, Jiading New City (Malu town), Nanxiang town, Jiangqiao town, Xuhang town, Waigang town, Huating town, Jiadingzhen sub-district, Xincheng Rd sub-district, Zhenxin sub-district, Jiading Industrial Zone, and Juyuan sub-district.
4. Read notices on the reservation of masks.
5. Fill in and submit your personal information such as name, phone number, address and number of identity certificates.
