The "Honesty Lighten China" national tour launched at its first stop in Shanghai's Jiading district on March 2, saluting China's moral role model, Lei Feng, by offering a series of voluntary activities.
Zhou Jinlin, vice Party secretary of Jiading district, attended the event and said the construction of the youth credit system is an important business for both the nation and Chinese youth.
The event provides a platform for young people to promote their awareness of integrity and build a sense of social responsibility.

Last year, Jiading Youth League Committee took the working scores of volunteers in the Import Expo and tax reform publicity into the national voluntary system, helping build a youth credit system with "volunteer service" as the core.
Zhou hopes young people will take an active part in voluntary activities, popularizing youth volunteer activities in society which can cultivate a sense of individual and social responsibility and provide a good social environment for youth to grow.
During the event, Shanghai Youth Credit Development Center was launched, aiming to promote the construction of the youth credit system and make it more professional, standardized and authoritative.
