Anting town, Jiading district of Shanghai recently hosted a salon for listed companies with the aim of enhancing exchanges and promoting development among local companies, local media reported on Jan 20.
Leaders from nearly 60 listed companies and companies that have plans to be listed in the future, as well as financial service institutions and investment attraction firms attended the event.
During the salon, representatives from listed companies shared their experiences and the benefits of going public to enlighten companies which have plans to be listed in the future.
A club for listed companies was established in Anting last year to better facilitate communication and cooperation among local companies via resource sharing and capital connection. Currently, it has more than 70 members, including 34 listed companies and 20 planning to be listed.
Anting, home to Shanghai International Automobile City, highlights the auto industry. It has 31 auto parts companies whose output value exceeds one billion yuan ($145.4 million). A large number of auto research institutes and auto startups are also attracted by the town's auto industry advantages.
