Jiading Park of the Zhangjiang National Innovation Demonstration Zone in Shanghai is allowed to set up a service site for entry and exit procedures, announced the zone authorities at an inauguration ceremony held in Jiading's Auto Innovation Park on Dec 24.
The move aims to improve convenience for local foreign personnel and attract more talented people from overseas to work or start businesses there.

Jiading, where the International Automobile City is located boasts a great number of foreigners who work in local foreign-funded auto manufacturing and R&D enterprises. It is predicted that the total foreign working personnel in the automobile city will exceed 3,000 soon.
The new service site will enable those foreigners to deal with exit and entry procedures at the nearest site instead of going to the city's exit and entry department.
With the new service site starting operation in Jiading Park, the total number of such service sites in the demonstration zone will amount to 19.
