The award ceremony for the China Excellent Industrial Design Award will be held in Yantai, a coastal city in East China's Shandong province, on Nov 25.

The China Excellent Industrial Design Award, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), is the only national-level award in the field of industrial design.

Ten designs will be selected to receive the gold award, representing the highest level of industrial design in China.

A total of 1,000 entries which participated in the evaluation will also be displayed, including designs in the fields of machinery and equipment, electronic information, intelligent terminals, aerospace, cultural and creative tourism, textiles and apparel, and new materials.

The 2020 World Industrial Design Conference will also be held from Nov 25 to 29 in Yantai to help strengthen design exchange among different countries.
