The Shandong delegation made a strong impression with the province's latest cultural achievements at the 15th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF), which opened at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on May 16 and will last until May 20.

The Shandong pavilion has the theme of "cultural Shandong, spirit of Confucian merchants," and covers an exhibition area of 1,208 square meters.

This is the ninth time that Shandong has appeared at the Shenzhen ICIF with the largest exhibition area, as well as the largest number of exhibitors and exhibits.

About 96 outstanding cultural enterprises from Shandong are participating in the event with more than 8,520 exhibits.

The main exhibition area of the Shandong pavilion focuses on the new aspects of the province's cultural industry, as well as traditional aspects that have been upgraded and transformed through modern methods.

It is divided into five major sections based on industrial types, including film and television publishing media, cultural tourism, cultural science and technology, traditional cultural inheritance and innovation, as well as intangible cultural heritage and folk handicrafts.

The exhibition section for film and television publishing media showcases Shandong's achievements in developing its film and television industry chain, as well as its film and television industry clusters.

It aims to promote famous brands such as "Oriental Movie Metropolis" and "Lu Opera". It also highlights the province's new achievements in strengthening the construction of new mainstream media, promoting the integrated development of media, developing the digital publishing, and accelerating the transformation and upgrading of the printing industry.

The exhibition area has gathered 15 film and television publishing media companies including Shandong Film and Television Media Group, Shandong Publishing Group, Shandong Radio & TV Media Group, and Qingdao Haier Brothers Pictures Co.

In the form of a high-tech digital sand table, it will present the development results of building a national leading and world-class film and television industry base with Oriental Movie Metropolis as the leader.
