The research and development project of the Shandong cultural copyright trading center was added to the reserve pool of the 2018 National Cultural Innovation Project, according to a Ministry of Culture and Tourism announcement on July 24.

The project, developed by Shandong Culture Media Co and recommended by the Shandong provincial department of culture, will provide one-stop services for listing copyright information and conducting copyright business, investment and trade with state-of-the-art technologies and facilities.

Another 14 projects were also added to this year's list, including an educational platform for Huangmei Opera recommended by the Anhui provincial department of culture.

Started in 2009, the National Cultural Innovation Project is an important platform for the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to promote cultural innovation.

According to the implementation plan, the Shandong copyright trading center project should be completed and serviceable by the end of 2018. It should enter commercial operations by June, 2020.
