It's carving time! Weifang woodcut New Year painting is one of the traditional handicrafts of Shandong province. A father and son duo has become the inheritors of the craft.

The father, Zhang Dianying, is the provincial inheritor of the craft and has engaged in creation research for over 60 years. He was awarded the title of "First Class Folk Arts and Crafts" by UNESCO. Zhang Yunxiang, his son, is a senior craft artist and has won more than 30 provincial awards.
