The official website of the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture ranks first among all official websites of China's provincial cultural departments in terms of performance evaluations made in 2015.

The result was released in a meeting held by China's Ministry of Culture in Beijing on Nov 26. A website’s performance is evaluated in terms of its construction, operating and maintenance.

The report comments that www.sdwht.gov.cn is a good role model website for other provincial cultural departments in China. It focuses on visual appeal, content originality and people-oriented services.
