The launching ceremony of the "Nanyang-Hebei Technology Research Center" was held at Hebei University of Technology on July 8.

The research center was co-constructed by Singapore-China Association for Advancement of Science & Technology and Hebei University of Technology.

At the launching ceremony, Guo Jian, president of Hebei University of Technology, outlined the university's program of foreign expertise introduction and international communication activities. The new center is a platform for the university to attract more high-level foreign experts and promote the development of different disciplines and technological research.

Professor Li Erping spoke on the development of the micro-nano photoelectron and electromagnetic technology innovation research institute in recent years. More than ten outstanding experts with doctoral degrees came to work at Hebei University of Technology from top universities and research institutes across the world with the help of the "1000 Talent Plan".

Wang Zhongqun, administrator of the Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs in Hebei, said that the establishment of the research center is of great importance. The administration will continue to support the introduction of foreign experts, their academic communications, and their cooperation with institutions of Hebei University of Technology in the future.
