A talent introduction meeting and a leisure agriculture forum were recently held in Changsha. More than 70 people attended the meeting, including Zhou Lihong, head of Hunan’s foreign experts introduction and training division, and Dai Chonghua, deputy head of the Changsha human resources and social security bureau .

The meeting aimed to make deployments based on the talent introduction meeting. It analyzed the needs of current talent introduction work and awarded model facilities. At the same time, the meeting invited Zhong Nianjun, president of Taiwan’s environment protection association to speak.

Zhou Lihong and Dai Chonghua delivered speeches on talent introduction work in Changsha. The city submitted more than 400 talent introduction programs in 2015, double that of 2012. Overall talent introduction spending has exceeded 10 million yuan for four straight years. The Municipal expert review process has become electronic, and electronic talent applications and information management will also be implemented. The city has invited foreign experts to lecture in recent years, including Huang Jing from the University of Singapore.

Changsha has also improved the talent service system. Sixteen government departments have worked together over the past two years to help experts with their problems.

The New Millionaire Eco-Agriculture Co and Wasion Group were named models in foreign talent introduction. Zhou Lihong presented the awards.

After the meeting, Zhong Nianjun introduced Taiwan’s social community resources and tourism models. His lecture sparked hot discussions among agricultural companies. Zhong believed that agriculture needs to use community resources and seek support and funding from relevant facilities. In addition, the industry should teach farmers new techniques and sales methods, hold bigger cultural and folk activities and improve the environment.
