COSMOPlat, independently designed and developed by Haier Group, China's largest home appliances maker based in Qingdao, became the country’s first national-class industrial internet platform approved by the National Development and Reform Commission.

According to a news conference that was convened on Feb 27 by the Haier Group and its cooperative enterprises and research centers, COSMOPlat will help advance the process of shifting from the old economic drivers to new ones as the national-level industrial platform, accelerate innovation for transformation and upgrading of China’s manufacturing industry, and seize the commanding heights of the industry’s intellectualization on a global scale.

Haier COSMOPlat is the world’s leading internet platform that has independent intellectual property right in China.

Different from other world-leading industrial internet platforms such as GE Predix and Mindsphere, COSMOPlat builds new ecosystem of integrity industry in the era of socialnomics with core competency of user-orientation and fulfillment of user lifetime value.

From user interaction, it facilitates zero-distance lifecycle interconnection between users and enterprise, thus achieving iteration of experience.

According to Simon Jacobson, vice president of Gartner, world's leading research and advisory company, the COSPOPlat ecosystem has made multi-win situation possible for everyone including users, companies of the full flow and Haier itself.

In 2017, COSMOPlat became the world's largest mass customized solution platform with total transaction reaching 313.3 billion yuan ($49.42 billion) and 4.12 million orders.
