The 2012 Sino-DPRK Economy and Trade Cultural Tourism Expo will be held from October 12 to 16 in Dandong, Liaoning province.
This expo will consist of four sections: commodity display and trade, trade cooperation, art exchange and tourism cooperation. It will serve as a communication and trade platform for efficient cooperation between domestic and foreign businessmen.
Covering an area of over 10,000 square meters, more than 400 domestic enterprises are expected to attend this expo, covering businesses in 12 commodity categories including textile, electronic products, food, hardware and electromechanical products.
The DPRK will host a delegation of 500 people. As many as 100 enterprises and a 300-people trade delegation will exhibit 10 categories of products such as clothing, accessories, folk and cultural products, and food.
An exhibition on tourist resources and tourist commodities in China and the DPRK will be held during the expo. The "Yalu River Border Tour" routes, the "Autumn of the Yalu River" tourism season, "Picking Festival" and "Seafood Festival" tourist programs will be launched.
