At 10:00 am on June 5, 2012, the first heat supply pipeline was buried underground, marking the beginning of the Jianshan pyroelectricity central heating networking project. When the construction is complete, 70,000 households in Dandong will enjoy high quality heat supply this winter.
Dandong Jinshan pyroelectricity project is built by the Dandong Jinshan Pyroelectricity Co Ltd under the China Huadian Corporation with a total investment of 3 billion yuan ($474 million). With the installed capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts, the first stage project will install two 300,000 KW heat supply units, producing a designated energy of 3 billion kilowatt-hours annually.
