The Reward Ceremony for Civilized and Honest Individual Business was held in Dandong on Nov 11. As many as 102 individual businesses, including Baochun Bee Farm in Kuandian Manchu autonomous county, were granted the title of, "civilized and honest individual business".
Individual businesses in Dandong account for 68 percent of the market and create 53 percent of the city's new jobs. The individual business has become a key growing point for Dandong's economic development.
In order to raise the awareness of business integrity, the city's municipal publicity department, the municipal civilization commission, and the bureau of industry and commerce organized an assessment of civilized and honest individual business.
Rural credit cooperatives in Dandong will open green credit channels and give businesses the ability to take out loans with their certificates. Cooperatives will send customer managers for loan investigation and permission.
In the meantime, Dandong will increase the mortgage rate for street retail housing, commercial housing, plants, land, machine and equipment by 10 percent. On the basis of the existing credit line, 10 percent will be added and the loan interest rate will be moderately reduced.
Li Shumin, deputy secretary of the Dandong municipal CPC committee, among other officials attended the meeting.
