Dandong Hekou Peach Blossom Festival is from the end of April to the beginning of May each year, where you could not only appreciate the sea of peach blossom, but also experience the custom of Korean ethnic group. It is an optimal selection for outings in spring.
In the Hekou scenic spot, peach blossom trees under early spring sunshine are most inviting. Dense peach blossoms are contesting: some are swaying upwards, some are in full bloom, some are bashfully in bud, some look as red as rouge, some look like pink clouds, lotus and jade, as if a spring grand party is on along picturesque landscapes of the Yalu River.
Besides peach blossoms all over the mountains and plains, tourists can also take a share in Dandong Tourism Resource Exhibition, Peach Blossom Photography Exhibition and photography competition, etc during the Dandong Hekou Peach Blossom Festival.
