Poyang Lake National Wetland Park, with its varied landscape and romantic scenery, proves to be an ideal attraction for China's Valentine's Day, which falls on Aug 23.

As the largest wetland park in Asia and the largest habitat for white cranes and swans in the world, Poyang Lake National Wetland Park boasts an enormous diversity of plants and animals. The lake is one of the cradles of China's fishing and farming civilization and is home to a time-honored lake culture.

Poyang Lake National Wetland Park was elected a star scenic spot in 2010 and one of the top ten tourist attractions in Jiangxi in 2011. In October 2011 it became one of China's first state-level wetland parks.
