Wuyuan rape flowers are blooming

Wuyuan is currently enjoying the best season of rape flower. Likeng, Jiangling, Xiaoqi, Wangkou and Rainbow Bridge ancient towns are great places to visit for watching the flowers. Likeng town is 12 kilometers away from Wuyuan county and is typical of Southern river towns.

Jiangling is a quiet village 42 kilometers to the north-east of Wuyuan county. It has been made famous by its terrace rape flower cultivation.

Xiaoqi village is a unique ancient cultural ecological village that has maintained many of its ancient buildings, some of which are greater than 600 years.

Wangkou town is located in northeastern Wuyuan. It was called Yongchuan (meaning "forever river") in ancient times, due to the two rivers that flowed through the village.

The Rainbow Bridge is the oldest and the most complete ancient bridge in China. Built during the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279 AD), it is a landmark building of Wuyuan county.
