Residents in Zhangjiagang, East China's Jiangsu province will not feel boring when waiting in line at the Zhangjiagang Rural Commercial Bank, as the bank set up a reading area.

The bank, located at the No 178 Shazhou Middle Road, joined hands with the Zhangjiagang Library to add a?reading?area on the basis of traditional bank services.

Covering more than 200 square meters, the bank has two floors. On the first floor, the bank offers business windows and also arranged reading seat for residents reading.

On the second floor, it provides nearly 5,000 books of all kinds. Readers can lend books at the self-service machine using citizen cards. It will host reading salon and parent-children activities to attract more reading lovers.
