Liangfeng Ecological Park, located in eastern Zhangjiagang, covers a total area of 485.6 hectares, 70 percent planted with trees and grass.

It was financed with a total investment of 300 million yuan ($48.2m USD). Its construction lasted one and a half years, from September 2004 to May 2006. Upon completion, the park integrates with various functions, including leisure, sightseeing, fitness, entertainment and science education.

Liangfeng Ecological Park highlights ecological concepts and emphasizes environmental protection. The park uses scientific construction, drainage, greening landscape, to create ecology-friendly natural environment.
