The municipal office of the state administration of taxation (SAT) and the local taxation bureau of Zhangjiagang city have co-launched their official WeChat account named "Zhangjiagang Taxation" to build an online platform providing tax payment services.

As the "Internet Plus" initiative has become popular in the country, the city is accelerating its pace to embrace new media channels by constructing social media platforms.

The "Zhangjiagang Taxation" WeChat account, with three channels and 14 sub-channels, will issue the latest announcements, tax policies and service information for local residents to learn about their tax and deal with tax affairs conveniently.

In the future, the local government will strive to optimize the online tax service platform to build the most satisfying service brand among tax payers, said an official.
