China won a three-nil victory against South Korea in the Men's Team Final during the 23rd Seamaster ITTF Asian Table Tennis Championships (ITTF-ATTC) held in Wuxi on April 12, being the 10th time in a row for China to hoist the trophy.

China has its strongest line-up in the final with Ma Long, Fan Zhendong, and Xu Xin, the top three names on the Men’s World Rankings, and Korea's team has Jang Woojin, Lee Sangsu and Jeong Sangeun.

Ma Long first overcame Jang Woojin 3:1 (14-12, 4-11, 12-10, 11-3), and the second gladiators into the arena were Fan Zhendong and Lee Sangsu, in which Fan Zhendong imposed his authority to emerge victorious with 3:0 (11-8, 11-4, 12-10).

Xu Xin, the only pen-hold paddler in world's top 10 rankings, made a short work against Jeong Sangeun in the third battle at 3:0 (11-9, 11-6, 12-10).

When talking about his version of the following men's single event in the press conference after the men's team final, Xu jokingly said that he would try his best and want to meet with a non-Chinese player to have more chance win the trophy.

When Qin Zhijian, who is in his first tournament as the Head Coach of China's Men's National Team were asked to grade for his debut, he didn't give an exact score and hoped to have the media and the public evaluate on his and the men's team at the 2017 Asian Table Tennis Championships.

Although another big name Zhang Jike in China's men's team, who is struggling with his ankle injury, didn't lineup for the final match, the top seed in China's team has helped a lot without lost a single game in the team’s way to the podium in the previous two battles. And the stadium was still packed to the rafters on April 12 to not doubt have more than 90 per cent screaming girls yelling the name "Zhang Jike, Zhang Jike, Zhang Jike".

The men's single event will start tomorrow.
