The city of Wuxi hosted an inaugural meeting to establish its Civil-Military Integration Enterprise Chamber of Commerce on July 29. The organization aims at integrating the technological achievements of both civil and military institutes to boost the city's innovation ability and economic prosperity.

Private firms will have the chance to enter the area of national defense science and industry, which plays an important role in upgrading the level of private firms.
