Established in 1988, the hospital has a fixed asset of 73.6 million yuan ($14.74 million), and spans an area of 21,580 square meters. It has 442 beds, and takes in more than 132,000 outpatients and 8,900 inpatients every year.

The hospital has 42 clinical departments, 13 medical departments and 20 functional departments, and 115 senior and 143 middle medical professionals. It had developed 17 research projects, including eight of special note.

It is equipped with 378 large and medium sized medical devices.
