Take a bite of Turpan grape in Changsha

Changsha residents had the chance to taste 100 varieties of grapes during a Turpan grape trade exhibition held in Hongxing Exhibition Center on Aug 16-17.
Visitors were able to find other Turpan specialties such as wine, raisins, hami melons, walnuts, peaches, apricots and dried fruit in the trade exhibition.
The exhibition also displayed Turpan colored jade, bonnets, embroidery and other ethnic characteristic handicrafts, along with the history, culture and attractions of Turpan.
Turpan, a key city on the Ancient Silk Road, has a 2000 years’ history of grape-planting. Now, the city is a world reputed grape base and the largest seedless grape planting area in China.
