Upper Trishuli Hydropower Station Phase-2 dam closed

February 8 witnessed discharge of water from the Phase-1 dam of the Upper Trishuli Hydropower Station in Nepal and closure of the Phase-2 dam.
A ceremony was held to mark the historical event, which was attended by the counselor of the Chinese embassy in Nepal, top officials of Nepal Electricity Authority and responsible persons of the engineering supervision corporation.
