The start of a repair project of roads in Benue State undertaken by CGGC

Recently, the repair project of roads in Benue State undertaken by CGGC started working formally.
With the length of 38.42 kilometers, the project includes repairing of grouted macadam and road shoulder, strengthening of subgrade and building of striding bridges over the rivers and drainage channels.
It's learned that the Benue State is the main crop producing area in Nigeria. It abounds in wheat and sorghum. At present, many roads in this state are out of repair for many years, which leads to the shortage of traffic capacity and seriously restricts the development of local economy.
Therefore, this project has been listed as the key project in improving the traffic capacity. It's expected that the shortage problem will be effectively resolved and the important traffic support for the economic development of eastern Nigeria will be provided when the project is completed.
