Huaqiao International Service Business Park was awarded “The model of good practice in environment planning” at an award ceremony held by Xinhua News Agency in Beijing on Dec 16.
The award honors the park’s plans to build itself into a more harmonious “l(fā)ow-carbon and livable city” and promote Huaqiao to the outside world.
The appraisal and selection for award recipients was supported by 18 mainstream media agencies, including CCTV (China Central Television), Xinhua News Agency and People’s daily, and launched by various organizations，including the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).
Huaqiao International Service Business Park was highly praised by the assessment committee for its great achievements in environmental planning, environmental improvement and low-carbon city construction.
