The Cross-Straits (Kunshan) commerce and trade cooperation zone is scheduled to be split into five centers – the Taiwanese commodity trade center, the Taiwanese commodity exhibition center, the Taiwanese commodity distribution center, the customs bonded logistics center and the comprehensive service center.

The Taiwanese commodity trade center with acreage of 1.1 sq km, one of the most important components of the zone, will be completed in the first half of 2011. It will be developed into an integrated platform for the wholesales and retails of Taiwanese commodities and the purchase of Taiwanese equipments and raw materials, as well as facilities for living, working and entertaining.
The Taiwanese commodity exhibition center, covering 0.35 sq km, will be set up several special trade zones featuring electronic products, mechanic products, agricultural products, livelihood products, manufacturing equipments and raw materials, which will be on show for both long and short terms.
The logistics companies in Taiwan are actively invited to develop the Taiwanese commodity distribution center with acreage of 0.7 sq km into a platform of storage and distributions.
The customs bonded logistics center at Huaqiao, which covers 0.6 sq km, is set up by virtue of customs bonded export production center of Kunshan.
The comprehensive service center with acreage of 0.9 sq km is allocated with multifunction, including finance, telecommunication, training, living and entertainment.
The Cross-Straits (Kunshan) commerce and trade cooperation zone, covering 3.65 sq km, aims to develop into the first platform for commodities from Chinese Taipei to the mainland.
