HISBP construction in full flourish
60 projects come into operation or construction
On April 30, HuaQiao International Service Business Park (HISBP) had another 60 projects under construction, a move to forcefully incarnate the development results of keeping improving functional environments and concentrating industrial sectors. The 60 projects comprise investments from the government and businesses, which respectively focus on leading industries, infrastructures, functional items and items relating to people’s livelihood. These projects will effectively promote the construction of HISBP, accelerate industrial concentration, invigorate investor confidence, and contribute to realize the country’s objective of “guaranteeing growth and facilitating development”.
Five of the 60 projects, under operation, fall into the leading industrial category. BOC Financial Business Co. Ltd., Kunshan Branch is dedicated to supplying a third-party specialized platform service and cultivating the middle and back office operation headquarters base for global bank card business of Bank of China Group. Kunshan Sofmit Software Co. Ltd. is a new-type comprehensive software business centering on IT service. Jiangsu Start Dimei Data Processing Co. Ltd. is a high-tech business engaged in designing and developing printing software, systems and solutions. Jiangsu Ocean Data Co. Ltd. is the country’s first one-stop financial service outsourcing comprehensive service business that undertakes financial outsourcing operations for China Construction Bank, Bank of China, and Bank of Communications. Tangram Customer Interaction Center is one of Shanghai’s largest outsourcing call center service suppliers that are specialized in supplying outsourcing call center service and solutions.
Among the remaining 55 projects under construction, 11 have broken earth. They are Centrin Data Systems, Goleaders headquarters, Tangram Customer Interaction Center, CITIC Huaqiao Financial Back Office Outsourcing Industrial Platform, Aichi Electric Headquarters, China Data Group, Suhao headquarters, Newcity, Zhongcheng Group headquarters and R&D center, Capgemini Long-distance Acceleration Development Center, and Yuyuan headquarters. These 11 projects have 900,000 square meters overall floorage, and 3.27 billion yuan total construction investment. Besides, 10 city functional projects have a total investment of one billion yuan. They are the Amusement Mall, Telecom Pivot Building, talent apartment blocks, power supply pivotal project, international hospital, and underground plaza (second stage project). The 10 road construction and extension projects, including southward extension of Jishan Road, east section of Binjiang Road, and Chengfeng Road, stretch 12 kilometers, with a total investment of more than 80 million yuan. There are 10 ecological environment construction projects, including the Jingu Park (second stage), Binjiang Scenery Belt (first stage), A11 Portal Park. There are also some residential quarters projects, such as Shanghai Yuhuayuan, International City, Greenbelt U Time and Xinghai Garden.
