The third session of the seventh Ruzhou municipal people’s congress was held on Feb 12 in the city of Ruzhou, Central China’s Henan province.
Li Quanshen, executive chairman of the presidium of the congress’s third session, presided over the session.
The session voted on and passed the work report of the Ruzhou municipal government, the implementation of the city’s 2013 plan for national economic and social development, and the draft plan for economic and social development in 2014.
The other items in the session’s agenda included the report on the implementation of the city’s budget in 2013 and 2014, the work report of the standing committee of Ruzhou’s municipal people’s congress, and the work report of the municipal people’s court.
In his closing speech to the session, Li stressed development as the top priority.
