An evaluation conference for the Ruzhou Mayor's Quality Award took place in the city of Ruzhou, Henan province, on Dec 7.
The Mayor's Quality Award, the highest honor in terms of quality in Ruzhou, has great significance in adjusting industrial structures, transforming development patterns and building Ruzhou’s own high-quality brands, according to the conference.
The award helps promote quality-oriented development in Ruzhou and support Ruzhou’s strategy of invigorating the city.
The conference asked related units and personnel to carry out on-the-spot assessments, the final stage of the award’s evaluation, in accordance with evaluation standards and adhering to the principles of equality and fairness.
Four enterprises of the city qualified for on-the-spot assessments on Dec 7 and 8, following a primary inspection of application documents.
The four enterprises, the Ruzhou branch of China Mobile, Henan Mingxin Science and Technology Co, Henan Yuxing Foundry Co and Ruzhou Yusong Ru Porcelain Co, will be evaluated by an expert team and Ruzhou's bureau of quality and technical supervision based on enterprise introductions, document inspection, employee communication and on-site visits.
Results of the evaluation will be handed to a leaders group focused on invigorating Ruzhou through quality development. This year’s award winner will be decided by combining results and expert scores, as well as through other comprehensive factors.
