A legal publicity initiative themed “Spirit of Legality and China Dream” kicked off in Ruzhou, Henan province, Dec 4, the 13th National Legal Publicity Day in China.
Peng Qingwang, secretary of Ruzhou politic and law commission; Deng Yinxiu, deputy head of the standing committee of Ruzhou municipal people’s congress and Han Zijing, vice-chairman of the Ruzhou municipal committee of the CPPCC were on hand at the activity.
A variety of activities, including laws and regulations, publicizing, legal advice services and performances were carried out at the event.
Boards displaying legal knowledge were carefully prepared by 74 units, including the court and the bureau of justice and quality administration. It attracted much attention from the public.
The participants also released leaflets to the passersby to promote legal information relevant to every day life.
Lastly, a series of legal publicities will continue in the city through legal lectures, knowledge competitions, WeChat and Webo.
After an on-the-spot investigation of the publicities, Peng asked the related units and officials to identify the focuses of legal publicity and to diversify the publicizing platforms and methods, so as to improve the popularity and participation of the legal publicity activities.
