On Dec 19, the Ministry of Culture announced the results of the 3rd national cultural museum assessment and the Ruzhou's Mass Art Museum was named the 2nd Level State Museum.
In recent years, the museum has achieved much more development with increasing investments from the city's government.
Entrusted by the Ministry of Culture, the Henan provincial department of culture, together with Pingdingshan's administration of culture, assessed and checked Ruzhou's Mass Art Museum this October. The inspection team spoke highly of the construction and development of the museum in recent years. They hoped that the museum could increase investment, intensify management and satisfy the growing spiritual and cultural demands of the masses.
