Hebei Meihua Monosodium Glutamate Group is a large private enterprise engaged in corn processing. The company, founded in 2002, is a leader in agricultural industrialization in China. The headquarters of the group is located in the economic and technology development zone in the eastern section of Bazhou. Its registered capital is RMB2.534 billion. The company has two production bases, the Hebei base and Tongliao base. Each production base forms an integral industry with self-generated steam, electricity and bulk raw materials.

The major products of the company are monosodium glutamate, seasonings and starch. More than 10 products including corn oil, core fiber and yeast are its major byproducts. The company has five integral corn deep processing production lines that integrate heat and power cogeneration, the reuse of reclaimed water and water treatment through membrane filtration.
