The 2021 Eco Forum Global will be held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on July 12-13. Around 500 celebrities, experts and scholars will be invited to share their opinions at the forum both in-person and online.
Eco Forum Global is the only international forum themed around ecological civilization in China. It has been held 10 times since 2009.
The slogan for this year's event is "low-carbon transition, eco-development – building a life community for humans and nature". It will discuss difficulties and other important matters related to global environmental governance.
The forum will feature activities such as opening and closing ceremonies, forums, meetings, visits to demonstration areas for ecological civilization, exhibitions of ecological civilization achievements, green product trade shows, and investment?promotion events for green projects.
Preparations for the forum are going smoothly, including epidemic prevention and control measures, which are expected to make for a successful event.
