According to a signing ceremony held by Xixiu Economic Development Zone, Anshun city of Guizhou province will cooperate with Beijing China Technology Construction Co to construct an air-supported-structure stadium in Anshun. It will be a pioneer in air-supported structure in Guizhou.

The stadium has a planned area of 40,666 square meters. A total of 20,666 square meters of the area will be for leisure and entertainment. The work will be completed in 180 days and is financed with $4.87 million.

According to the plan, a ping pong and badminton center, tennis center and swimming center are all included in the air-inflated-structure.

After the completion of the stadium, it will play a crucial role in promoting Anshun's physical industry and also provide locals a place for sport and fitness.

"In comparison with traditional stadiums, air-supported stadiums have advantages such as shorter construction period, less capital investment and constant inside temperature. They are adopted worldwide," said Yang Qing, chairman of Beijing China Technology Construction Co.
